Terms and Disclaimer

Effective 2026-09-02. Governed by the laws of Japan. The Japanese version prevails.

What this is

Pmandala is a personal tool for observing and recording plants. The place of an entry is computed mechanically from the positions of the Sun and the Moon. It is not divination, diagnosis or advice.

Effects

This site and app make no claims about effects, medicinal use or safety of any plant. Always check with a specialist before eating or using a plant. A plant cannot be identified from a photo alone.

Data

Your entries are yours. You can export them at any time. We do our best to keep them, but cannot guarantee against loss. Keep an export of what matters.

Pricing

• Two plants are free. From the third, 900 yen per plant, or 9,000 yen for unlimited plants. Tax included, one-time; no monthly fee.
• Payment is made through Square. You enter the e-mail address you applied with; that is the only way we match a payment to you.
• Fees do not guarantee any period of service (next section).

Service and termination

• This service runs on a rented server. The service may become impossible to continue for reasons outside the operator's control: the hosting provider ending its service, changes in its terms or fees, outages, inability to move to another server, or changes in law or in external services (payment, e-mail delivery, the dialogue AI).
• When ending the service, the operator will give notice on the site and by e-mail, in principle 90 days in advance. If external reasons make 90 days impossible, notice will be given as early as possible.
• Between the notice and the end, you can export all entries and photos. The operator will keep the export function working until the end.
• After the end, data on the server is deleted. Entries not exported cannot be recovered.

Refunds

One-time payments are not refunded, including when the service ends.

Changes

Changes to pricing or these terms are announced on the site. Price increases do not apply to what you have already paid.

Use

Do not share your passphrase. No unlawful use, no infringement of others' rights. The operator may change or stop the service with notice.
