What we collect
- Photos: the originals you write (unchanged) and a smaller display copy
- Time: the time of each entry; we may read the shooting time from a photo
- Location: the device location or the location in a photo (latitude, longitude). You can turn it off
- Words: the plant's name, generation names, your notes, your conversations with Mei
- E-mail address: kept for your application and for reissuing the passphrase
- Passphrase: a long random passphrase, kept in your browser; stored hashed on the server so even the operator cannot read it
- Payment records: the buyer e-mail and time notified by Square. Card details stay with Square
Where it lives, who sees it
Entries are stored in your own folder on our server. No other user can see them. The operator accesses them only as needed for maintenance. Conversations are stored encrypted. We never publish entries that contain location. Display copies carry no location.
What we do not do
- Analyse your entries to produce trends or judgements
- Advertising, selling or sharing with third parties
- Automatic identification of plants
Export and deletion
You can export all entries and photos of a plant. Entries can be deleted one by one (irreversible). To delete everything, contact the operator.
On your device
Passphrase, settings and, if you register it, your birth sky are kept in the browser. No tracking cookies.
